MAMA, I AM AN ADDICT

I’m a hustler but the street is my home.
Assumed a loser, not good at all
She lies, she’s unreliable but that’s just what the world has turned her into.
She’s is a sucker for sex, drugs, and alcohol.
I know you told me I should stay away
I know you said it’s of no good.
I know you mentioned it as a dog astray.
Mama, She’s become a bad girl with a tainted heart
I know it’s not smart but mama, I tried

I went through those days in the street hustling and struggling.
No PITY, No MERCY.
The street was never fair not for a second.
I had to survive so I picked the lead,
I had to win the game so I took the life.
Mama, please don’t cry, I will be alright
All reason aside I just can’t deny, It’s hard for me but how do I stop?

He became my companion and my one true friend when all I know disappeared with no trace.
He is a villain by the devil’s law
He is a killer just for fun.
That man is a total snitch and unpredictable
He’s got no conscience.
Only if I knew, I should’ve let go, but NO.

How do I go through this Mama?
How do I tell you that the child you raised is now an addict?
How do I tell you that the child you raised is a sex, alcohol, and drug addict?

Who’ll save her now?
She’s losing her mind.
The wickedness drowned her soul and now she’s left with this kind of life.
Mama, I am an addict.
