Vin Diesel posts bizarre F9 poster
Vin Diesel posts bizarre F9 poster: Vin Diesel hasn’t been posting much on Instagram, but he surfaced on Sunday night with a bizarre poster for his upcoming Fast & Furious movie F9 while hinting at a ‘war’ between Universal Studios and the Producers Guild of America.
Mark Sinclair posted a bizarre poster for F9 that had clearly been doctored, almost giving it the look of a Halloween movie with a jack-o-lantern and a dark house in the background.
Diesel apologized to his fans for not posting much, before delivering a cryptic message about some sort of conflict, perhaps involving his producer’s credit on F9.
‘Happy creative Sunday everyone… sorry I haven’t posted much lately, I have been trying to mitigate a war between Universal studios and the p.g.a. Prejudice guild of America,’ Diesel said.
The poster itself was actually designed by an Instagram user dubbed Mommy Torretto, a photo editor whose Instagram is filled with Fast & Furious poster parodies.
The Fast & Furious franchise has been a good one for Universal Pictures, with the nine-movie franchise earning $1.6 billion domestic and $5.9 billion worldwide.
F9 will not feature Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson, who joined the franchise in 2011’s Fast Five, helping it become a box office juggernaut. The Rock starred in the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, following his much-publicized feud with Diesel on the set of The Fate of the Furious
