Minister Of Works And Housing Babatunde Fashola Reacts To The Naira Marley Saga

Minister Of Works And Housing Babatunde Fashola Reacts: The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has responded to the discussion encompassing Naira Marley and a private carrier administrator, Executive Jets Services Limited.

A letter composed by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Executive Jets Services Limited, Sam Iwuajoku, had referenced Fashola’s name over conditions encompassing a Lagos-Abuja-flight worked on Saturday. The pastor said he has not gone out of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, since March 22.

The occurrence prompted the suspension of the carrier by the Federal Government for flying a performer, Azeez Fashola otherwise known as Naira Marley, and his group to Abuja to go to a show.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika had declared the suspension during a Presidential Task Force instructions in Abuja on Monday. In this way, the Chairman of the carrier composed a letter of expression of remorse to Sirika saying he gave the endorsement for the flight thinking the traveler was Fashola.

Responding in an announcement on Tuesday, Fashola’s Special Adviser on Communications, Hakeem Bello had this to state:

“The consideration of the Office of the Honorable Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola SAN, has been attracted to a letter marked by the Chairman/CEO of Executive Jets Services Limited, Dr Sam Iwuajoku concerning a flight it worked to Abuja a weekend ago”.

“For reasons for lucidity and so as to sort the records out, the Hon. Priest of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola SAN, has not gone out of Abuja since March 22, 2020, when he returned there after a review voyage through the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway development work and a visit to Lagos, before the lockdown”.

“The choice of the Hon. Clergyman not to travel was taken in severe consistence with the Federal Government’s restriction on between state goes as a major aspect of endeavors to control the COVID-19 pandemic. It is in this manner silly for Dr Iwuajoku to endeavor to connect the Hon. Pastor with any resistant flight”.
